Having stood beside my parents as they started New Covenant, I have been a part of the church from the very beginning. Today, I serve as the NCSM Student Pastor, where I coordinate volunteers, train them, and create the curriculum for our students. Our goal is to create an environment where students can grow in their faith and community while learning, developing, and serving.

I hold a B.S in Political Science from Charleston Southern University and a Masters of Education in Elementary Education from the College of Charleston. Before joining New Covenant’s staff, I worked as an elementary school teacher and a literary coach for Trident Technical College. I’m also actively involved in local adoption support groups. My husband, Richard, our daughter, Norah, and I live in West Ashley. Being a part of the incredible community at New Covenant is an honor for me.

Mt Pleasant Leadership

Russell and Crystal are longtime high school sweethearts who see a huge vision for the growth of God’s church. They desire for every person to come to the understanding that Christ lived, died, and rose from the grave, and for them to experience the love that Jesus has in abundance. They work in unity with their two daughters to see people have a true encounter with God and then pursue His will as they inspire the world to do the same.

Scott and Elizabeth Litchfield serve together as Associate Pastors at the Mt. Pleasant campus. They are responsible for discipleship programs, assisting the campus pastor, and supporting the various ministries within the church body. They each have been a part of the New Covenant family since before having a family of their own. They are grateful for the opportunity to raise their daughters among a Spirit-filled community of believers and the impact that it has made on each of their lives. They have three daughters and a son-in-law, each actively serving in leadership positions at New Covenant. They believe their steps are ordered by the Lord to serve the Mt. Pleasant community in this season of life. Their mission is to encourage individuals and families to accept Christ as their Lord and Savior, to put Him in the center of their lives, to serve like Christ did, and live in the purpose God intended for them from the beginning. They live by the truth in Matthew 6:33, “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
