What We Believe

We believe in one, eternal God that exists in the Trinity: The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary, He was crucified, buried, and on the third day He rose from the dead and now sits at the right hand of the Father as our intercessor.

We believe that the forgiveness of sins and salvation is only through Jesus Christ.

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit

We believe in speaking in tongues as led by the Spirit and that this gift of the Spirit is the initial evidence of the baptism, but not the only evidence.

We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God.

We believe that everyone has sinned and that repentance is necessary for the forgiveness of sins.

We believe that the process of sanctification begins after salvation and is done by the work of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God.

We believe that God has called His people to strive to live a Holy life, set apart by Him.

We believe in water baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as an outward expression of the work of salvation within.

We believe in participating in Communion and foot washing.

We believe in a premillennial second coming of Christ. That He will first resurrect the dead in Christ and gather the living that are in Him. He will then reign on earth for 1,000 years.

We believe in a bodily resurrection and that those who have believed in Christ will live eternally with Him. Those that who do not believe will be eternally punished.
